(Required) Real Analysis and Foundations, Second Ed. by Steven G. Krantz
I have also placed An Introduction to Analysis, by William R. Wade on reserve in the MATH-CHEM library.

Homework:

You will be assigned weekly. The problems may be quite difficult, so you should plan to spend 8 or more hours outside of class every week on your homework.

Quizzes

Every lecture, be prepared to start with a quiz to check your knowledge of the definitions presented either in the previous lecture or the reading for the current day.

Grading

Your grade will be determined by quizzes, weekly homework, a presentation, two in-class exams, and a cumulative final exam. The weights of each of these are shown below.

Grades will be assigned according to the following scale:

85-100% 75-84% 65-74% 55-64% 0-54%
