Algebra Student Seminar, Fall 2006

Day & Time: Thursdays, 5:10 P.M.

Place: PHSC, Room 1105

Our goal this semester is to study chapters 1,2,3 and 5 of "Introduction to Commutative Algebra" by M.F.Atiyah and I.G.MacDonald. Those who don't have this book may get copies of the chapters listed above from Ravi Srinivasan. If time permits, we will study differential algebra, representation theory, and automorphic forms later this semester.
