announcements:
Quiz 10, Friday, December 5, §4.10.
I will replace your lowest test grade with your final exam. For example, if your lowest test grade is 60/100=60% but your final exam grade is 180/200=90%, I will replace the 60/100=60% with a 90/100=90%. I will do this only for legitimate test scores (e.g., if you were admonished for cheating, or if you blew off the test for the pumpkin launch, those 0's will remain 0's.)
extra credit essay assignment (10 points, due Fri Dec 5)

Test 1 grades are available at http://ou.blackboard.com. A link to sample solutions is posted above. Instructions for appeals: If you believe that we have made an error in grading one of your answers, first consult the sample solutions, then write a clear and convincing explanation for why you should receive more credit, and turn in your written argument along with your graded test to Dr. Murphy. This is ONLY mechanism for appeals -- arguing with one of the instructors in person will get you nowhere.
