MATH 4443/5443 -- Spring 2007

Text book: "Introduction to real Analysis" by R. Bartle and D. Sherbert, 3rd edition. We will cover chapter 7 and 8. We hope to finish the discussion on integral in a couple of weeks.

"Functions of several variables" by W. Fleming. This is a terrific book. I hope that we can cover at least up to Chapter 4 (we hope to discuss inverse and implicit function theorems).

Late homework will not be accepted.

  • Assignments and Due date
  • I do not collect your solutions of those exercise problems which I hand out or leave on blackboard.
    Homework: 10%
    Quiz: 10%
    Midterm: 40%
    Final Exam : 40%

  • Extra problems (I plan to collect some interesting problems here)
  • Policy You shall attend all lectures. You are responsible for all information given out during lectures. Attendance will be randomly checked.
