First Day Handout contains the detailed information about the course policies, grading, and instructor.
All assignments, detailed information about the course, announcements, etc. will be posted and updated on Desire2Learn, which is called D2L for short.
Discussion Sessions
You are registered for the Discussion Session as well as the lectures in this course. In these meetings, you will discuss the material covered that week, and this is also a good time to ask questions about the homework.
Grading
Your grade will be determined by homework assignments, Webwork assignments, quizzes, i>Clicker responses, three in-class exams, and a cumulative final exam. The weights of each of these are given in the First Day Handout.
Math Center
The
Mathematics Help Center (PHSC 209) is open MTWTh 9:30 - 5:30 and F 9:30 - 3:30. You should definitely take advantage of this terrific resource!
