Directed Reading Program
University of Oklahoma

About

The Directed Reading Program (DRP) at the University of Oklahoma pairs undergraduates with graduate student mentors to read a selected math book. The program is suitable for undergraduate math majors, as well as undergraduates with mathematical interests. Ideally, the DRP allows an undergraduate to explore an exciting piece of mathematics under the supervision of a graduate student mentor. This also allows undergraduates to get a feel for higher-level mathematics in a low-pressure setting.

All undergraduates present a short talk at the end of the semester to share with others in the program and the department what they've learned over the course of the semester.

If you are interested in learning more about the Directed Reading Program, please feel free to email the organizers.
