Announcements:

Dec. 20:   Grades are officially entered and also posted on D2L. Please have a look at the final exam solutions below. If you have questions, or would like to look over your exam, I would be happy to meet you during the beginning of next semester. Have a good break.

Dec. 20:   Solutions to the final exam are here.

Dec. 19:   I hope to have grades finished sometime tomorrow, so please bear with me. Also, there was some confusion about problem 5 (about T(t), N(t), B(t)) and so I am counting it as a bonus problem.

Dec. 9:   About the final exam: it covers all the material from the course, though there will be some emphasis on topics studied since the third exam. Also, you are allowed to bring a 4x6 index card with handwritten notes on it (front and back). Think carefully about what you want to put there!

Dec. 9:   Here is a grading scale, if you want to see how you are doing and what you need.

Dec. 1:   Solutions to the third exam are here.

Nov. 18:   The third exam will cover sections 12.9, 12.10, and 13.1-13.4.

Nov. 4:   Solutions to the second exam are here.

Oct. 21:   The second exam will be held on Thursday October 28 and will cover sections 12.2 - 12.8.

Oct. 19:   I am seriously considering moving the second exam to Thursday Oct. 28. If you have a strong objection, please let me know by tomorrow.

Sep. 28:   Solutions to the first exam are here.

Sep. 16:   The first exam will cover sections 11.1-11.4 and 12.1.

Sept. 9:   Please note that I have changed the date of the first exam. I expect the other two exams to remain as they are.

Aug. 25:   Please note that I have had to change my office hours (now Monday instead of Wednesday).

Aug. 24:   Please have a look at the OU Math Blog from time to time. It is full of interesting and amusing items. Also, if you're inclined, consider attending the OU Math Club meetings, which feature free pizza and usually something vaguely math-related.

Aug. 22:   Anyone who misses the first two class meetings will be dropped from the course automatically. If you have a good reason for missing both classes, let me know immediately.

Aug. 22:   This class is currently full and I am not able to add anyone to the roster. It may be possible to get in during the second week of class, but only if you attend during the first week, and even then I cannot guarantee anything. The final decision, on whether anyone (and who) can be added, is not up to me.
