Announcements:

Jan. 14:   Solutions to the final exam are here.

Jan. 8:   The make-up final exam will be held on Monday Jan. 14 at 1:30 pm, in the regular classroom.

Dec. 18:   I will be in my office tomorrow (Wednesday Dec. 19) from 3 to 4:30, in case you want to stop by and look over your exam. I will also set aside some time for this in January.

Dec. 18:   Grades have been turned in and posted on learn.ou.edu. For those of you who did not take the final, the make-up exam will be held on Monday January 14. The exact details will be posted here when I get them.

Dec. 12:   Your final homeworks are graded and can be picked up outside my office at any time. I will bring them back inside for the break though, next week.

Dec. 11:   If you choose to take the final in January, it would be helpful (but is not absolutely necessary) if you could let me know beforehand. Also, I do not yet know the details of how the make-up in January will be administered. When I have more information (possibly later, during the break) I will post it here.

Dec. 11:   *The final exam is rescheduled to Saturday December 15 at 1:30 pm (in the regular classroom). If you cannot make it at this time, you have the option of taking the final at the beginning of the spring semester. (In this case, you will not receive a grade for the course until the exam is taken.)

Dec. 7:   Here is a grading scale, if you want to see how you are doing and what you need.

Nov. 26:   Solutions to the third exam are here.

Nov. 15:   The third exam will cover sections 13.1-13.6.

Nov. 2:   Next week I will be out of town, so I will not be able to hold office hours. Dr. Ravi Shankar will teach the class on Tuesday and Thursday.

Oct. 30:   Solutions to the second exam are here.

Oct. 29:   I will not be able to hold office hours on Wednesday Oct. 31. Instead I will have them on Friday Nov. 2, from 2 to 3:30.

Oct. 16:   The second exam will cover sections 12.2-12.10.

Sep. 25:   Solutions to the first exam are here.

Sep. 11:   The first exam will cover sections 11.1-11.4 and 12.1.

Sep. 7:   If you received a score of 20 or less on the homework, this may have happened because you only turned in the very last batch of problems. Just this once, since there was some confusion about this, you can bring me the ungraded portion on tuesday.

Aug. 19:   Anyone who misses the first two class meetings will be dropped from the course automatically. If you have a good reason for missing both classes, let me know immediately.
