Aug. 29:   Once again, here is a pdf scan of section 5.1. I can't continue this any further though, so if you anticipate not having the book for much longer, you'll need to get in touch with a classmate and use theirs.

Aug. 28:   You should have a look at the OU Math Club and its blog.

Aug. 28:   For those of you who have had trouble acquiring the textbook, I am temporarily posting a scanned pdf file of section 4.9 here. Also, looking at it now, I see that problem 31 got cut off. It should say f(pi/3) = 4.

Aug. 27:   I have had to adjust my office hours slightly. They are given above.

Aug. 24:   Anyone who misses the first two class meetings will be dropped from the course automatically. If you have a good reason for missing both classes, let me know immediately.

Aug. 24:   Add-Drop Procedure: For those of you wishing to join the class, there is nothing I can do at the moment, since it is already over-enrolled. If you want to try to get in, you must attend both of the first two class meetings, and ask me to put you on the list. Sometime during the second week of class, things will be worked out and you should find out, by Wednesday September 3, whether you got in. I should point out that the decision is not made by me, but by others who have more complete information.
