Plant milks

Milk made from soybeans, hempseeds, almonds, or other plant sources can be a useful part of a nutritarian eating style. If you are used to cow's milk, the tastes of plant milks will seem strange at first. But after you become familiar with them, they are very appealing.

Soy milk and hempseed milk are the preferred choices, as they are the most nutritious. Consume only plant milks that are unsweetened. Westsoy unsweetened soymilk is ideal, as it contains only two ingredients: soybeans and water. Hemp Bliss unsweetened is the best choice in commercial hempseed milk. You can also purchase equipment and make your own plant milks. Or (my favorite) just blend hempseed and water in a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio, with some dates for a little sweetness.

As optional foods, plant milks should not be used by persons who are above their ideal weight.
