COMMENTS:
As part of the process of mastering topics covered in this course (for
preparing for qualifying exams say), I
would recommend that you review and come to a thorough understanding of
every one of the problems on the final exam. I will be around at least
in the early portion of the summer and happy to meet and go over any questions you
have about this, or, if there is enough interest and a common time can be found,

qualifying exam I also remind you of the extensive archive of previous
exams posted at the graduate student web page. While each individual test

Although it was created in 2003 and is somewhat dated, a perusal of this list should still begin to suggest some of breadth of the subject of topology. Professor Hatcher is a renowned topologist at Cornell University who is himself a highly regarded author of topology textbooks.
