The University of Oklahoma Department of Mathematics offers a wide array of scholarships and awards for its undergraduate majors. (See the list of award and scholarship winners from recent years.) At least one of the scholarships provides for incoming freshmen who enroll with a declared major in mathematics. High school senior candidates should submit the High School Senior Scholarship Application Form (pdf). Other scholarship candidates please use the Departmental Scholarship Application Form (pdf). Each scholarship applicant will automatically be considered for any appropriate departmental scholarship. (The actual awarding of funds is contingent upon the recipient's enrollment as a declared mathematics major.) Application deadlines occur in the middle of the spring semester. In addition to the scholarships, there are two categories of merit awards given annually to deserving freshman and senior math majors in recognition of their academic achievements at the University of Oklahoma. Both of these awards are given to the students deemed most deserving from those nominated by the faculty and teaching staff in the department.
Here are descriptions of the specific scholarships and awards that are available (also available for download as pdf).
