L2-Alexander invariant of knots

Abstract In this talk, I will show that there is an L2-analogue of the usual Alexander invariant of knots in S3 with parameters in C*. The L2 invariant gives a natural extension of Lück of L2-invariant and may have possible relation with the volume conjecture. This is a joint work with Weiping Zhang.
