Fall Redbud Topology Conference

Location and Travel Information:

Location: The conference will be held in room 251 of Nielsen Hall on the University of Oklahoma campus. Nielsen Hall is the building directly south of the clock tower, which in turn is south of the Math Department (Physical Sciences Center). This map shows the location of Nielsen Hall, among other things.

Parking: several surface lots are available for free parking, including A5, A15, and A25 on this map (pdf). Another online map is here: click "Campus Parking" and then "All Parking" on the left to see the lots. Note: the Elm street garage is not free on the day of the conference.

Hotels: The official hotel for the conference is Sooner Legends Inn & Suites. We have reserved a block of rooms with a special rate of $79 plus tax. Breakfast is included. To get this rate, make your reservation by October 29, and tell them you are part of the Redbud Topology Conference. Their phone number is (405) 701-8100, or (866) 715-3111.

Driving to Norman: from OSU or from UArk, first head towards Oklahoma City and then continue south on I-35.

Driving to the hotel: take the Lindsey St. exit (108B) and turn east (towards campus). The Sooner Legends hotel is right there, on the right.

Driving to the campus: from the hotel, go east on Lindsey St. until you reach the campus at Elm St., turn left on Elm. The parking lot A25 is on your right. Lot A15 is just past the stop sign (Brooks St.) on the left. The entrance is on Brooks, so turn left there. Of the three parking lots, this one is the closest to Nielsen Hall. For lot A5 turn left at Brooks, then right on College Ave, and the lot will be on your left. If you are coming directly to campus from elsewhere, just take the Lindsey St. exit (108B) and continue as above.
