Abstract
I will show how to find a hyperbolic fully irreducible automorphism of the free group whose induced action on the abelization of the free group is any specified nonsingular (integer) matrix. The proof looks at the action of an automorphism on two associated spaces and involves an analysis of the stable currents related to a product of Dehn twists. This is joint work with Alexandra Pettet.
